New Installations 

1. When installing into 'new' work the core holes are drilled into a slab, or footing.
2. The cores are removed, cleaned, (usually hosed out) and dried with a heat gun.
3. The glass sheets are turned 'bottom up' and the clamps are assembled onto them with the two insulating tubes (one in each hole in the glass), 11 shims (6 one side and 5 the other), and the 8mm of packers set between the clamp and the glass. The two bolts through the glass are inserted and tightened ensuring that the clamp is at right angles to the glass sheet. Cover plates are then fitted if required.

Product Specs/Core hole sizes

Clamps into concrete.

The clamps are 52mm x 50mm which is almost 70mm diagonally. This means that when an 76mm core hole is used a small amount of adjustment is available for the positioning of sheets and to allow in case the core drill 'runs off' slightly. We need 60mm - 80mm penetration into solid concrete plus the paver or tile and bed depth. This is recommended as a minimum. Longer M16 allthreads are available for special situations. Cover plates are available as an option should the client request them.

Pavers or concrete
